Job Responsibilities
- Maintain a 40 hour work week (including class preparation time.)
- Classes are normally taught between 8:40 AM and 4:00 PM, Working hours are therefore 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with 40 minutes lunch break.
- Teachers must be prepared for all classes. Preparation is done during work hours, but may require work after 5:00 PM.
- Teachers may be requested to work evenings and holidays.
- Working days are Sunday through Thursday weekly.
- Ordinary leave may only be taken during school vacations.
- Working hours are calculated as a number of hours proportional to the numbers of lessons taught. Credit is given for meetings and other functions when the teacher’s presence is required by the Headmaster.
